Hello!

As some of you may have noticed, I've been a bit absent from DA due to being busy with becoming a responsible young man. (it's true!)

Between University, a few projects I've started on my own and the odd jobs I manage to pick up here and there, there's been little time for me to draw the silly things that come out of my head, and trust me, there's been quite a lot of those. Anyway, I'm on a break now, and will continue to be for the next couple of days, and I really want to start submitting things again, so here's hoping I get to do just that. So, to all of you who wondered where I was, I'm sorry I don't have a more interesting story involving I dont know, robot dinosaur zombies or something, it's just me, still as boring and plain as ever! (ladies!)

Enough with the pleaseantries! Let's cut to it.

I got a few messages asking if I'm still taking commissions, and the answer is YES, however, there's been a few changes regarding the 'HOW TO'. I will explain, further down this journal.

For now I just wanted to say that, I'm back (sort of) and...I guess that's it!

COMMISION CATALOGUE UPDATE!

As mentioned, there's been a few adjustments I've decided upon:

1. The first one is that before you could choose from 3 different styles ( Lineart , Lineart+Color, Color Daubs) but now, and due to the fact that most people just ordered the last one, I've decided to take the other two options off the table. In addition to that, it's a style I want to develop even further, so I really want to keep working on it and this is why it's the only option available, but it's also good in the sense that it offers the best results.


2. A second matter to note, would be that as I said, my schedule will be chaos coming next week again. Before, I could very easily deliver commissions within a few days from when it was ordered, but now I just can't neglect the other things I have to take care of and dedicate myself to the commissions as much. SO, this is just to say, I will take a little bit longer in delivering, and there's really not much I can do to change that. There used to be a public list of the slots available, and it caused more problems than it solved, so that's gone too.

I do, however, try hard not to keep you waiting too long, and you guys have always been incredibly patient with me, so I THANK YOU sincerely for that.

3. Then comes the touchy subject of money. Yes, I am taking your money in exchange for a service, and so I consider commissions to be a serious deal between two parties. That said, I try to keep prices low and reasonable and I've decided NOT to raise them, but I dont know how long this will last. I may have to raise them soon, and that's just how the world works. Still, I always try to give you the most for your money, and I will continue to do so.

4. Some have asked, so I will address the issue:  I don't always upload every commission I do to my DA gallery. Most of the time is because I forget to do it and when I do upload it, it's just to show examples to potential customers, But reallyI like to keep my gallery with my own personal work. If I don't upload, it doesnt really mean anything.

HOW TO ORDER


1. You see my work, and decide you want to have a drawing made specially for you!

The drawings will look something like this:



2. You send me a note with:

       - DESCRIPTION // REFERENCES of the character you wish me to draw for you. It has to be your own original character. Fanart of commercial franchises is off limits. This is an important step.
                                                         Anything not included ( either in writen or visual format)  I CANNOT  guess, and I still can't read minds, so if this is done correctly, and you include EVERYTHING
                                                         you want to appear on the drawing, we shall have no unpleaseant surprises.


       - QUESTIONS or DOUBTS  you may have about the service or others.

3. I will then reply to your note, and if everything is set, I will ask you to make the payment ( PAYPAL ONLY) to marcksda@hotmail.com
    PLEASE do not send me money if I haven't accepted your commission. It will save us both a lot of time and trouble.


4. After I confirmed the deposit, all you have to do is wait while I drop some mad colors on your character.


HOW MUCH IS THIS GOING TO COST ME?

Standard price per commission is $25 USD. Note this price is one character only. Additional ones cost extra (-10% off starting price), as it takes longer to draw.

It is important that you understand what you're paying for. I will give you a HIGH RESOLUTION file, which you can print over and over and use it to wrap your whole house if you want to, the only thing you're not allowed to do is to alter it and re sell it. I will hunt you down if you do. Trust is important here.

Also, I will keep a safe copy, in case you lose yours, but only for three months after the delivery, since my PC storage capacity is a bit limited.


Lastly, keep in mind you can also GIFT commissions ( if you're feeling generous). Just tell me who you want it delivered to, and I will make it happen!
